Comprised of news images taken from the press over the course of a week, this diaristic record forms a narrative in which the documentary images are unified with an abstract companions. The work’s title meaning ‘actualities’ is used paradoxically, as the images are anachronistic, in some cases referring to events of the past. The title of this work is in remembrance of the pre- and post-war 16mm French news films. This work is part of a longer series of 12 weeks.
